Research Focus

Angélica López is interested in how Mexican heritage and Latina/o children learn through informal means, specifically through helping and collaboration and the cultural values associated with it.  She also considers the history of childhood and families in Mexico, especially in relation to age integration (or separation) and values regarding the role of children in families as economic goods or burdens.
